Norma I. Berger, 94, Duvall, passed away on Sept. 16, 2011, at the Bornemann Nursing Home in Green Bay. She was born on March 30, 1917, in the town of Union, to Isadore and Hortense (Jadin) Virlee. On Oct. 26, 1936, she married Harris Berger in Namur. She farmed with her husband for many years in the Duvall area until retirement.

Survivors include her two children, Germaine Renard, Brussels; Vernon (Carol) Berger, Duval; seven grandchildren, Sandy (Jim) Meyer, Sue (Scott) Sperber, Mike (Jodi) Renard, Wendy (Terry) Bittorf, Brenda (Bruce) Hawkey, Kelly (special friend, Jane) Berger, Kathy (Terry) Olson; 15 great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Dhuey, Casco; three brothers-in-law, Louie Berger, Hamlin and Richard Mertens; two sisters-in-law, Ann LeCloux and Agnes Berger.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, one brother, eight brothers-in-law and eight sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at St. Francis and St. Mary's Parish in Brussels, with the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum
