Services were held at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home here Friday afternoon, for Mrs. William (Mary) Hug, 87, of Hermann, who died last Wednesday at the Hermann Area Hospital, where she was a patient ten days.
Rev. G. R. Gruwell officiated at the service. Interment was in Oak Haven Memorial Gardens.
A daughter of Henry Gruber and wife nee Elizabeth Fluetsch, she was born Nov. 15, 1890, at Swiss. On Oct. 26, 1911, in Hermann, she married William Hug, who died Oct. 31. 1976.
Mrs. Hug was a member of the American War Mothers.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Leona Stoehr, and one son, Orlando Hug, of Hermann; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Rehmert and Mrs. Henrietta Locher, of Hermann, and Mrs. Elsa Reinhardt, of Montgomery City; three grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.
