MILDRED M. MARTIN
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Melida Martin, 74, 202 Agate St., will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Vase Funeral Chapel. The Rev. George Mackey of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion will officiate. Burial will be in the Mountain View section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Burton C. Cook, Samuel G. Martin, Antone F. Pivik, Rudolph Jelosek, Frank Pivik and Antone Zupence.
Mrs. Martin died Thursday at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Mrs. Martin was born April 10, 1899 in Evanston, the daughter of Julius and Melida Pauly. She moved to Rock Springs as a small child and had been a resident of Rock Springs since that time.
In 1924, she married David M. Martin. He preceded her in death in Aug. 1952.
Mrs. Martin was retired, having been employed as assistant treasurer of the Union Pacific Coal Company for many years.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion and the Royal Neighbors.
Mrs. Martin is survived by one sister, Emma Kruse, Oakland, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews including John Schnauber, Mrs. Antone F. (Amy) Pivik and Mrs. Samuel (Elva) Martin, all of Rock Springs.
