Phyllis Lauretta Hopkins Dutton, 83, of Sandy Spring, MD, died Aug. 30, 2011, in Baltimore. Born Februar 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Samuel P. & Laura L. Hopkins. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Dutton Jr.
Survivors include five children, Haroldine Robinson of Poolesville, Audrey Dutton, Phillip Dutton, Edward Dutton and Deborah Dutton, all of Sandy Spring; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Interment followed funeral services conducted on Wednesday, September 13 at the Sharp Street United Methodist Church, Sandy Spring. The Snowden Funeral Home in Rockville handled the arrangements.
