Mrs. Lura Lockwood Hendee, 56, of Webberville, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Leona Steinmetz, Sunday evening.
Funeral services were conducted at the Wortley and Baine funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. C. E. Thies of Central Methodist church reading the service.
Burial was at Lakeside.
Lura Lockwood was born in Webberville. In 1910 she was united in marriage to Leonard Hendee of Dansville and the couple made their home near Mason, and became associated with the Methodist church of Dansville.
They are will known here, the older daughter having received her high school education here.
Besides the husband, Mrs. Hendee is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Campbell of Williamston, and Miss Pauline at Home; the sister, Mrs. Steinmetz, and a grandchild.
