She is survived by her son, James (Deb) Campbell of Ionia; 5 granchildren; 5 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia with Rev. Melvin Fox presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.

Arrangments by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Contributions may be made to either SS.Peter and Paul's educational Trust Fund, or to the Ionia Public Schools Scholarship Endowment Funds.

Dorothy L. Campbell, 87, of Ionia passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Lacy's Assisted Living Home. She was born in Dansville, Michigan on May 10, 1919.

Dorothy taught school for 24 years in Montcalm County, 5 years in Ingham County, and 1 year in Ionia County retiring in 1978. She married Francis Campbell on October 28, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1979.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personal.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Francis, daughters, Mary Leone in 1943, and Claudia Stemler, and sister, Pauline Bush. She is survived by her son, James (Deb) Campbell of Ionia, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia with Rev. Melvin Fox presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia, with a Scriptural Wake Service at 6 p.m. Contributions may be made to either Ss. Peter and Paul's Educational Trust Fund, or to the Ionia Public Schools Scholarship Endowment Fund.
