Please add the following. Peter Bryan is not buried at the Bryan-Drinnen-Cate Cemetery. Rather, the D.A.R. placed a memorial marker for him at the cemetery in the 1970's. The cemetery was founded in 1867, long after Peter died. There is no known evidence that he had a middle name. Please do not post a middle name without evidence. There is considerable evidence that he died in late 1823 or early 1824, probably in Jan 1824. Namely, he was party to a lawsuit in 1823 and there are records in 1823 where he was still living. His son Thomas C. Bryan Sr. served as executor of the estate of Peter Bryan deceased and became involved in the lawsuit in Feb 1824. The correct name of the cemetery is Bryan-Drinnen-Cate Cemetery. It was founded by Lucy Bryan Harrison in 1867 upon the death of her father Thomas C. Bryan Sr.

Jerry Bryan, fifth great grandson of Peter Bryan, [email protected] I have four generations of Bryan ancestors buried in the cemetery, but Peter Bryan is not among them.
