BROWDER - SARAH GALLAHER 86, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at the home of her son, W. H. Browder, at Wheat. She was born and reared at the old Gallaher homestead at Gallaher Ferry and lived in Roan county all her life. During the Civil war, in 1862, she was married to Frank Browder, who died many years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Maude Douthit, of Lenoir City; two sons, W.H. Browder of Wheat and J.R. Browder of Lenoir City; many grand-children and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. E.S. Chobot and W.H.Browder,Jr. of Chattanooga are two of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gallaher homestead, Gallaher Ferry.
