Wilma Juanita Thrasher Reeves passed away June 6, 2010. She was born September 13, 1924 to Walter Thrasher and Myrtle Reed Thrasher. She was born in Malett, west of Eufaula, OK. Wilma married Jesse Reeves on October 4, 1941.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; both parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 daughter, Freeda Bocher; and 2 great-grandchildren.Survivors include 1 son and wife, Gerald and Kathryn Reeves of Pink, OK; 2 daughters: Mary Kathryn and Oran Carpenter of Okemah, OK; Helen and Tommy Baker of Paden, OK; son-in-law, Emile Bocher of McAlester; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 step-granddaughters; and 9 step-great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister; Betty Flanin of McAlester; and brother, Archie Ray Thrasher of Texas. Wilma was a longtime cook and baker at several hospitals and Anna Maude Cafeteria.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2010, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, with burial at 3:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens in McAlester, OK.Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
