Services for Bernetta Kay Kuntz, 17, 2319 Victor Rd., Rock Springs were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 31 at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. The Rev. Gerald Chleborad officiated.

Burial was in the Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park.

Tom Jensen, Bruce Turcato, Steve McWhorter, Joe Berger, Kelly Maser and Doyal Maser served as pallbearers.

Miss Kuntz died Friday, Aug. 27 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah where she had been a patient for two weeks.

She was born in Rock Springs, Feb. 13, 1965, the daughter of Andrew and Josephine Berger Kuntz. She attended schools in Rock Springs and was employed at Wendy’s as a clerk at the time of her death. Miss Kuntz was a member of the Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

Survivors include her parents, one brother, Dennis; three sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Beatrice) Turcato, Mrs. Thomas (Brenda) Jensen and Mrs. Steve (Berna) McWhorter, all of Rock Springs; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Berger of Hebron, North Dakota and several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.
