Margaret Christine Fackler was reared and educated in Manville, Douglas, and Casper, graduating from high school in Casper. She attended Chadron College in Nebraska and received her teaching certificate from the University of Wyoming. She taught two years in rural schools west of Douglas.
She was married to Irving Carlson June 6, 1939 in Douglas and lived on the Carlson ranch west of Douglas with her husband, until they retired in 1984 and moved into Douglas.
She is survived by her husband, Irving, of Douglas; two brothers, Richard Fackler of Bonita, Calif.; and Paul Newton Fackler of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren, Anita Finnerty of Manhatten, Kan. and Carlson T. Akers of Douglas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Martie Akers, and two brothers, Thomas Fackler and D. C. Fackler.
