Youngest daughter of Hezekiah Root (c 1650 - 1696) & Mehitable Frary (1663 - 1687), married on 12 Jul 1682 in Northampton. She was living with her maternal grandparents, Sampson Frary and Mary Daniels Frary, when she was killed during the French and Indian raid on Deerfield.

In a common grave in the south-eastern corner of the ground buried with the victims of the Deerfield massacre.
