Winnie King, 81, of Summerdale went into the arms of her Lord and Savior and received her ultimate healing on Tuesday evening, July 31. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter to the late George N. King and Mabel Mae Potteiger. She had worked for Nationwide Insurance and retired from the PA Dept. of Education working with the school lunch program.

Winnie was an active member of River of God Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, choir director, and organist. She also started the Missionette Program and an outreach program ministering to senior citizens at the Kinkora Pythian Nursing Home.

Surviving are her two brothers, as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at the River of God Church, Enola from 10AM-12PM.
Services will begin at 12PM. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery, Enola.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River of God Church, 747 Wertzville Rd., Enola, PA 17025.
