Alice June Olson was born in Sturgeon Lake, MN on June 29, 1907 to Charles and Olga (Wallgren) Olson. She was raised in Sturgeon Lake and attended school there, until going to high school in Moose Lake, MN, where she graduated in 1925. She moved to Duluth, MN where she and sister Lillian attended the Duluth Business University from 1925 to 1927. Alice moved to Moose Lake and worked at the bank from 1927 to 1942. She moved to Seattle, WA in 1943 where she was employed by Boeing Aircraft until 1944. In 1945, Alice moved to Tacoma, WA, where she was employed by the Internal Revenue Service until 1947. She then moved to Havre, MT, where she worked for Citizen's State Bank as head cashier until her retirement in 1973.

Upon retirement, she moved back to MN and purchased the family home in Sturgeon Lake from her mother. She resided there until December 1995 when she fell at home and moved to Lakeside Nursing Home in Pine City, MN. She resided there until January 1999, when she moved to Pine Medical Center in Sandstone, MN. She died in Sandstone on December 28, 2000, following a short illness.
