Wife of Louis C Korando. Daughter of William V Shields and Cecelia Gannon. Lizzie and her sister Ann were sent to live with an uncle, Tom Shields, after the death of her parents. Her father died in a lumber accident in 1899 and her mother died in 1901 from pneumonia. She was the mother of seven children: Cecelia, Geneva, Eugene, Sylvester, Leo, Clifford, and Betty Korando.
