Mrs. Harold Island passed away at her home Saturday, October 4 at 2:50 o'clock p.m., after an illness of four years. She is survived by her husband and two grown children.
Sophia Insturn was born in Norway, June 11, 1868. In the year 1899 she was united in marriage to Harold Island in Norway. To this union five children were born, of which two are living, Martha and Olaf.
She came to America in 1907 and has been a resident of Lead till her death.
The funeral services will be held from the Bethel Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock."
