"Laura Miller Died Saturday - A lengthy illness was fatal Saturday night to Mrs Laura G Miller, who died at her residence in Sheridan. Born in Frecks, NY, 63 years ago, Mrs Miller had resided in this area approximately 15 years, coming her from Corydon, Pa. She is survived by her husband, Fred C Miller of Sheridan; five sisters, Mrs Blanche Wooley and Mrs Bessie Powers of Fredonia, Mrs Cora Hatch of Austin, Pa, Mrs Minnie Farner of Collins, Mrs Doris Blakeslee of Spartansburg, Pa; two brothers, Merle Gilmore of Forestville and Milo Gilmore of Cassadaga. Several nieces and nephews also survive."

"Former Corydon Resident Buried - Memorial services for Mrs Laura Glimore Miller, 64, of Sheridan, NY, aunt of Mrs Leon Bennett, 269 W Washington St, were held yesterday afternoon at a Fredonia, NY, funeral home with burial in Sheridan Cemetery. A resident of Sherman for the past 15 years, Mrs Miller, who died last Saturday at her home, formerly resided in Corydon. She is survived by her husband, Fred Miller, two sons, Floyd and Ernest, Jamestown; five sisters, Mrs Blanche Wolley and Mrs Bessie Powers, Fredonia; Mrs Cora Hatch, Austin; Mrs Minnie Farner, Collins, NY; Mrs Doris Blakesley, Spartansburg, and two brothers, Merle Gilmore, Forestville, NY, and Milo, Cassadaga, NY. Pallbearers were S Sgt William Blakesley, Leon Bennett, Paul Blakesley and Hiram Borst, all nephews, and Floyd and Ernest Miller."
