Justina "Dena" Lunkenheimer Hohl Schierkolk was born at Hanover, Kan., Dec. 24, 1871, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Lunkenheimer.
Her first husband, Heinrich Hohl, died in 1905. In 1907 she married Heinrich Freidrich Wilhelm "William" Schierkolk, who was a section foreman for the Rock Island Railroad. The Schierkolks lived about 10 years at Deshler, Nebr., before moving to a farm near Hanover. He eventually operated a harness shop for several years at Herkimer, Kan.
Survivors included her husband William and children from her first marriage: Katherine Elizabeth (Frank) Hatke of Hanover; Anna Marie "Mary" (Louis Eddy) Trumble of Seattle, Wash.; William Henry Hohl of Superior, Neb.; Anna Dena (Roy Wiley) Brewer of Rock Eagle, Wyo.; Clara Mollie (John William) Orr Morrison of Lodgepole, Nebr.; and Anton George (Anna Louise) Hohl, Denver, Col.
