Mrs. Heck is Dead
End came Tuesday of This Week at Her Home.
Funeral will be Held Friday Morning, Starting from Residence at 9 o’clock.
Friday of this week Mrs. Valentine Heck and answered the summons of the angel of death and went to her final reward, at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 25 days.
The cause of death is given as general senility. Mrs. Heck had been in poor health for several years and about eight weeks ago was stricken with a complication of diseases which confined her to the bed. She gradually grew worse until death relived her sufferings.
The deceased was among the early settlers of this vicinity. She was born in Germany and came to America many years ago where she continued to reside until her death.
The funeral will be held this (Friday) morning, a service being said at the late resident at 9 o’clock after which the remains will be brought to the Catholic church in Hanover for services.
Interment is to be made in the Hanover Cemetery.

Mrs. Marguerite Heck, aged 75 years, 5 months and 25 days, died at her home four miles north of Hanover, Tuesday morning, February 21.
The funeral will be held at the Catholic church in this city today, Friday, at 10 o’clock a.m.
Mrs. Heck was an old settler, and highly respected by all who knew her.
She was a devout member of the Catholic church and a true Christian in every sense of the work, always willing and ready to visit the sick and relieve the distressed. Thus, a good woman has passed to her reward.
May she rest in peace.
