Ruble is the son of Elhanan R. and Sarah Jane Bryant. He grew up on a farm where he had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. One brother only lived 9 months and the other brother lived only 2 years.
On June 18, 1912, Ruble married my great aunt whose maiden name was also Bryant. Burgess Marie Bryant was from Milan, Gibson Co., Tennessee and that is where they married. They lived most of their married lives in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Ruble worked as a Banking and also Insurance Inspector loan officer and was involved in Real Estate. Part of his job was to handle the farm loans. They loved Muskogee but had no children so they requested to be laid to rest next to Ruble's family here in Harrisonville.
