DURHAM, Robert A. (Jim) OBITUARY: The Pulaski Citizen, 24 Sep 1980
Funeral services for Robert A. "Jim" Durham, 57, a Giles County native, was held on Saturday, September 20 at 2:00 p. m. at Bennett-May Chapel. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Shields officiating at the services.
Mr. Durham was killed Thursday morning in Nashville when a load of glass toppled on him at the Ford Motor Company Glass Plant, where he had been employed in the materials department for 22 years.
Mr. Durham was married to the late Dorothy Pillow Durham. He was the son of the late Alvie Durham and Ada Draper Durham of Minor Hill. He was a member of the Hillwood Presbyterian Church in Nashville and a member of the West Nashville Moose Lodge 2221.
He is survived by his mother, three daughters, Mrs. Bobby (Darryl) Bratcher of Nashville,
Miss Dawn L. Durham, of Knoxville and Miss Dorinda L. Durham of Nashville; seven brothers, David Durham, Union City, Georgia, Richard Durham, Lester, Ala., Horace Durham, Minor Hill, Chuck Durham, Lester, Ala., Bud Durham of Five Points, Bill Durham, St. Joseph, Mich., and Joe Durham, St. Joseph, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Marta Gordon, Lexington, Ala., Mrs. Donnie Gatlin, Pulaski, Mrs. Margaret Hayes, Center Hill, Fla., and Mrs. Bonnie Barnett, O'Brien, Fla.
