Funeral for Gerald "Chuck" Durham, 80, of Lester will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Booth Chapel Church of Christ in Minor Hill, TN, with Aubrey Stephens and Richard Durham officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hester Cemetery.
Mr. Durham died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1927, in Limestone County.
Mr. Durham was a member of Booth Chapel Church of Christ and retired from P. R. Mallory Co. in Huntsville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Lee Durham of Lester; one son, Roger Durham of Lester; one daughter, Mary Lee "Sister" Dudley of Pulaski, TN; four brothers, Joe Durham of Athens, David Durham and Franklin "Bud" Durham, both of Minor Hill, and Richard "Bookie" Durham of Lester; two sisters, Bonnie Barnett of Florida and Mary "Donnie" Gatlin of Lester; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
