WINCHESTER - Sharon Lee Wallace
of Winchester, wife of Dennis G. Wallace for 41 years, left to be with her Savior on July 31, 2011, after a 4 year battle with Leukemia. A native of Lexington, she is the daughter of the late Homer Kenneth Scott and Margaret Thelma McGarvey Scott. Sharon graduated from Lafayette High School in 1969. She was employed by the state of Kentucky for 33 years. She was a devoted member of the Central Baptist Church in Winchester. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tami (Kevin) Dunn, and Jennifer (Michael) Fitzgerald, all of Winchester, four grandchildren, Andrew (Christina) Dunn, Ashley Dunn, and Sydnee and Jesse Campbell. Funeral services will be Wed at 11am at the Central Baptist Church, 101 West Lexington Ave., Winchester, with Pastor Michael Houchens officiating. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed from 9am until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Andrew Dunn, Ray Lainhart, Harold Campbell, James Mayo, Mike Oliver, and Tom Stang. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Simmons, Carlos Planck, Ralph Palmer, Ed Burtner, Billy Ray Dunn, and the men from the Bush Sunday School Class. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church Debt Reduction, 101 W. Lexington Ave., Winchester, KY. In charge of arrangements is Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S.
