I am a relative new-comer to the genealogy field, although I have loved history all of my life. My research interests are primarily focused on the following family names: Gentry, Moore, Skeen, Lowman, Geers, Hart, Adams, Alexander, Wallace, Cecil, Lowe, Harp, Rhorer, and Booth. My genes run through Kentucky and Georgia with feeders from Ohio, Virginia, and the middle-Atlantic states. Many of my ancestors made the treacherous trip to settle the "wild west" and I am on their trail as well! I have discovered links to my German (Hessian) heritage as well as to French and British ancestors.
