~0bit~Marie Waterbury Stoner, 80, formerly of Palo and Walker, Iowa, and a resident of Center Point for the past four years, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 1982, at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after a short illness. The daughter of Flores and May Biggs Andrews, she was born on February 4, 1902 near Troy Mills, Iowa. On February 16, 1921 at Independence, Iowa, she was married to Walter C. Waterbury. He passed away on August 20, 1965. On May 1, 1971 at Waterloo, she was married to Kyle Edward Stoner. For several years she operated the Country Kitchen Restaurant in Hiawatha. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Merle V. Goodson of Marion and Mrs. Geraldine Cady of Palo, a step-daughter Mrs. Wayne (Marlys) Badger and a stepson, Daryl E. Stoner both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; ten great-grand chidren; four stepgrand children and three step grand-children. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Andrews, Sr. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 1982 at the Murdock Chapel in Center Point. Conducted by Rev. Charlotte Mallott. Bearers: Claude Andrews, Harold Erger, Danny Andrews, Roger Wig and Ronny Andrews. Interment: Cedar Memorial Cemetery.
