MRS. CLARA H. ACE, 58, of 9627 N. E. James Terrace, a resident of Allentown for 38 years, died on Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was the widow of John W. Ace who died in 1958. Her first husband was the late Albert Poe. Born in Lansford, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of J. A. Sassaman of Allentown and the late Audrey McElmoyle Sassaman.
Surviving besides her father are a son, Wilmer Gerhart, with whom she resided, and a step-sister, Frances, wife of Victor Gryzenczyk of Allentown.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Rittersville Cemetery, Allentown. The William J. O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown, is handling local arrangements. There will be no calling hours. ~~ THE MORNING CALL, Allentown, PA, Dec. 11, 1969, page 14
