Vivian was born Nov 11, 1932, in Boicourt, KS, to Volney Preston and Hilja Sivia Henrikson Reynolds. She graduated from high school and attended nurse's training in Fort Scott. She was a long-time Spring Hill resident.
She worked for Hedrick Title Company and was an office assistant for Cookbook Publishers, retiring after working many years.
She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed flea markets and garage sales, always adding to her collections. She loved to cook, especially for her loved ones. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vern D Batley Sr, Harold L Sutcliffe Sr, and Kirby Carlton; and a grandson.
She is survived by her sons, Vern Batley of Spring Hill, Don "Mike" Batley of Gardner, Bill Sutcliffe of Spring Hill and Hal Sutcliffe of Paola; a daughter, Kathy Gander of Blue Mound; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Reynolds of Clinton, MO; and a brother, Loren Reynolds of La Cygne, KS.
