Raymond E. Cranor, 96, of Coffeyville, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.

He was born May 13, 1915 on the family farm west of Edna, KS to Arthur and Lula (Cole) Cranor. Raymond grew up and attended school in the Edna area.

He married Katherine Alice Regal. Following their marriage they made their home on the family farm near Edna. His wife preceded him in death on March 24, 1988.

Raymond attended the Methodist Church. He served on the Trenton School Board, was a member and Past President of the Edna Round-up Club, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include one son, Arthur Cranor and wife Vickie of Coffeyville; one daughter, Carolyn McClanahan of Houston, TX; one grandson, five granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one son, Barry Ray Cranor
