Mrs. Flowers was born March 10,1914 in Maud, Texas to Juilus and Willie (Crossland) Alexander, and died in an Athens hospital after a long illness. A former Balch Spring resident, she had lived in Mabank for the past eight years. Mrs. Flowers was a member of the Bethany Christian Church in Corpus Christi. She married Clarence Flowers on July 29,1935 in Miller County Arkansas. She was preceded in death my her husband Clarence C. Flowers and daughter Alta Lou Flowers.
