Ethel Alexander Brewer, 80, of Texarkana, TX died August 11, 2006 in a local hospital. Mrs. Brewer was born September 18, 1925 in Bowie County, Texas. She was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Deborah Brewer of Dallas, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Spellman Collom and William Collom of Maud, TX; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2006 at Faith Community Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery, Redwater, TX under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Memorials may be made to Faith Community Baptist Church.

Family visitation from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006 at the funeral home.
