Iowa State Patrol troopers said Troy Krantz, 21, was driving northbound on Highway 218 1 1/2 miles north of Hills around 2 a m. when the accident occurred. Randy Hartsock, 30, of rural Columbus Junction, was traveling south in the northbound lane when he collided with Krantz’s car, troopers said.
