RIVER JOHN, Dec. 10, - The death occurred on Saturday, Nov. 26th, of Mrs. Ellen Robinson, at the age of 79 years. Born at Cape John, she was the daughter of the late Capt. James Murphy. She married Thomas Robison, who predeceased her 16 years ago, then she moved to River John. She had been ailing for some time, being tenderly cared for by her children and grandchildren. She leaves one sister, Margaret, at Cape John; five sons: Thomas and Charles, in Providence, R.I.; Linton, in Rossland, B.C.; John in Pictou, and Gordon, at home; three daughters: Annie in Warren, Mass.; Mary, in Black Point, Halifax County, and Florence, at Cape John. She also leaves 36 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. The funeral took place on Nov. 28.
