Joseph is my great uncle. He is my mother's uncle and my grandmother's brother. He is one of many Berberick's that grew up on Virginia Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey. Joe didn't travel far he lived for many years with his wife and children around the block on Boyd Avenue.
Joseph married Eleanor and they had three children: Jack, Joe, and Maureen.
Many New Year's Eve parties were held in the basement of their home. Family was always welcome.
Joseph worked for MetroGlass a company that was located on West Side Avenue in Jersey City.
He had a summer home in Forked River and the children and relatives have fond memories of it.
