Eliza V. Archibeque, age 76, a beloved and devoted Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was called home to be with the Lord our Savior Tuesday, September 3, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. Eliza was born in Algodones, NM to the late Patricio and Dolores Vigil; and was resident of Albuquerque. She loved baby sitting; and was wonderful Mother and homemaker. Eliza is survived by one daughter; four sons; her grandsons; one brother; and one sister. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE. Interment will follow at the Algodones Community Cemetery, in Algodones, NM. Casket bearers will be Phil Archibeque, Gilbert Archibeque, Anthony Archibeque, Fred Archibeque, Louie Petalski, and Patrick Petalski. Honorary bearers will be Kevin Archibeque and Quentin Archibeque. Funeral services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
