SERAFINO J. LENZI
Serafino J. (Sarge) Lenzi, 61, 517 B Street, a native of this area, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 9:30 p.m. in Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital shortly after he was admitted.
Mr. Lenzi, a maintenance man for the water department of Pacific Power and Light Co., was born Jan. 5, 1907, at Quealy.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Mae, Rock Springs; one son, Robert C. Lenzi, serving with the U.S. Navy; three brothers, Albert and August, Rock Springs, and Edward, Granite City, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Ida Cassari, Rock Springs; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Bartek officiating. Rosary was recited Sunday evening at Rogan Chapel. Burial was in the family plot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jack Pritchard, Delbert Robinson, Frank Robinson, Thomas Hartt, Henry Likwartz and Steve Koler.
