She was born on March 24, 1947 in Fauquier County, Virginia. Gloria blessed many people with her skills as homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father Whelan Carter.
She leaves her a loving family that will miss her greatly, her mother, Elizabeth Carter, her daughter, Carla Craig of Bealeton, VA, her son, Victor Harris Carter of Warrenton, VA, a brother, Whelan Carter, III of Herndon, VA, sisters, Victoria McKay of Clifton, VA and Betty Tyler of Gainesville, VA, her grandson, Ryan Carter of Warrenton, VA and her great grand son, Kamryn Carter of Remington, VA.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA by Pastor Reese Washington. Memorial contributions may be made in Gloria's name to the American Heart Association, 4217 Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
