He was born July 10, 1923, in the Town of Washington, to the late Henry Sr. and Henrietta (Jantz) Buelow. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Washington. Henry attended Lake View Grade School and Shawano High School. On Dec. 25, 1947, he married Ruby Mayer. They had four children together. Mr. Buelow farmed and worked at Schreiber Cheese in Green Bay. For 30 years he worked at Proctor & Gamble. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Henry enjoyed music, especially polkas and loved watching the Packers.
Survivors include: three children, Sandy Yates (special friend, Glen Schick), Green Bay, Ron Buelow, Bonduel, Jolene DeNoble (fiance, Pat Brusky), Pulaski; six grandchildren, Melissa, Katie, Amy, Tara, Alexa, Angie; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Scott, Alivia, Brooklyn; two step-grandchildren, Kendall and Leah; a brother and sister-in-law, Pastor L.P. Buelow (Carola); two sisters, Minnie Werbelow, Henrietta Meyer (Lester); two sisters-in-law, Arlene Buelow, Florence Buelow; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by: one son, Dennis Henry Buelow; five brothers, Adolph, Harold, Harry, Elmer, Alfred; one sister, Myrtle Moede; and one son-in-law, Bill Yates.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Paul Pett officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in White Clay Lake.
