Henrietta Anna Gertrude Meyer, age 77, loving wife and mother, passed away on May 12, 2009.

Born on Dec. 16, 1931 at Route 2, Bonduel Wis. to Henry and Henrietta ( Jantz ) Buelow.

On March 31, 1951 she was united in marriage to Lester Meyer. She held various secretarial jobs before and during her marriage and retired from the Bonduel School District after 34 years of employment.

Henrietta enjoyed all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would always have that special treat ready when they visited. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed cooking, baking and golfing. She had been a member of the Golden Sands Golf Club and Golden Sands Ladies Association, St. Paul Altar Guild, St. Paul Senior Citizens, an associate member of Shawano County Area Retired Teachers Association and the Cecil XYZ Club.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lester; three children, Judy Meyer, Wrightstown; Daniel (Susan), Shawano; Laurie Van Oudenhoven (fiance John Byrnes) Appleton; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Sarah Zarter; Joshua and Jennifer Meyer; Nicole and Matthew Beyer, Virginia (Jed) Meidam and Natalie (Jason) Jacobson; Andrea and Jerrod Van Oudenhoven; two great-grandchildren Taylor Vieaux and Adrian Moon; a brother, the Rev. Leonard (Carola) Buelow, Green Bay; sisters-in-law, Arlene Buelow, Shawano; Florence Buelow, Bonduel; Agnes Buelow, Green Bay; Magdeline Martin, Stevens Point; Dottie (George) Merrill, St. Paul, Minn.; Marg Graff, Saginaw Mich., and Carol Meyer, Omro; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Allison Voorhees and Emily Meyer; two sisters, Minnie Werbelow and Myrtle Moede; six brothers, Adolph, Harold, Harry, Alfred, Elmer and Henry; sisters-in-law Edna, Anita and Irma Buelow, Louise Koch; brothers-in-law Arnold Moede, Hugo Werbelow, John Martin, Cliff Graff, Bernard Meyer.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Washington, Bonduel, with the Rev. David Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Zastrow Funeral Home, Cecil, is assisting the family.
