Cremation was planned by the Telophase Society, with ashes to be interred. He died Thursday in a hospital. Mr. Clewell, a native of Sunbury, Pa., lived in the county 40 years. He served the Navy 20 years, retiring in 1953, then worked for Rohr for 19 years.
Survivors include his wife, Chloe; a son, Donald of Carson City, Nev.; a daughter, Helen Blanton of Chula Vista; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
