Alexander Bradford Halley was the son of William W. Halley and Nancy Edens. He married Cornelia Christine Nafus September 21, 1872 in Benton County, Missouri.

The couple had the following children: Charles S., Nellie, William Franklin, James E., Annie M., and George C.

In 1910 they were living in Copan Twp., Washington County, Oklahoma.
