MRS. D. F. ALEXANDER RITES HELD SUNDAY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Annette Timmins Alexander, 66, widow of D. F. Alexander, who died Saturday night at her home in Greenwood, were held from the First Methodist Church in Greenwood Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The rites were conducted by the Rev. H. S. Johns and the Rev. A. S. Lutz of Minden. Interment was in the Greenwood cemetery, under direction of the Roll Osborn & Sons funeral home.
Active pallbearers were: J. T. White, E. S. Moncrief, R. A. Bryson, D. A. Simpson, J. B. Vaughn, T. E. Dunn, C. C. Phillips and J. M. Mays.
Survivors are: two sons, G. T. Alexander and D. F. Alexander of Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. D. F. Farmer, Shreveport; Mrs. Estelle A. Bryson and Mrs. A. G. Flournoy, both of Greenwood; and Mrs. J. E. Ward of Monroe; two brothers, W. W. Timmins, El Dorado, Ark., and Lyle Timmins, Waskom, Texas, and eight grandchildren, including D. K. Farmer, Jr., Alex Farmer, Antoinette Alexander, Herbert Alexander, G. T. Alexander, Jr., A. G. Alexander, Jr., and J. E. Ward, Jr.
The deceased had long assumed a prominent part in civic and social activities of the community in which she resided. She was an active member of the First Methodist church.
