At the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. M. Fite on West Gentry Monday morning death claimed the life of Mrs. Julia Chastain at the ripe age of 70 years and 5 days. Deceased is survived by her aged father, G.W.B. Meadows, aged 94 years, and 10 children. Funeral services were held at the late home Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Farmer, interment following at Greenlawn cemetery. Six generations were represented at the funeral services.
