R. S. Adams, 66, Dies In Franklin
R. S. Adams, 66 year old Franklin Countanian, died August 5 at his residence after a long illness. He had resided in Bude for 22 years. Mr. Adams who had been retired for a number of years, was a member of the Baptist Church.
Services were held August 6 at 10 a.m. from Bude Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Jones officiating. Burial was in Midway Cemetery under the direction of Hartman's Funeral Home.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lois Adams of Bude; a son, R. J. Adams of Natchez; three daughters, Mrs. Hooper Gober of Jackson, Mrs. Joe Taylor and Mrs. M. R. Walker of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. N. A. Guice, Hamburg, Mrs. Iva Cloy, Bude, and Mrs. E. L. Graves of Helena, Ark.; five grandchildren.
