A private family burial preceded memorial services at 11 a.m. July 28 at the First Baptist Church in Belton.
Mrs. Rager was born Oct. 24, 1919 to Hildur and Morris Nelson and married the Rev. Paul Rager Nov. 16, 1940. She was active in the Senior Choir and the Golden Age Club of the First Baptist Church where she was a member.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004.
She is survived by three daughters, Paula Wilson of Tenple, Carolyn Nelson Chaney of Palos Verdes, Calif., and Janice Nelson of Dublin, Calif.; a son, David Nelson Rager of Newport Beach, Calif., eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Golden Age Club at the First Baptist Church in Belton. Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
