BELTON, TX: Services for the Rev. Paul N. Rager, 89, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with the Rev. Andy Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Rager died Oct. 13, 2004, at a Temple hospital.

He was born Nov. 10, 1914, in Cleveland, Ind., the seventh of 12 children of the late Samuel and Anna Volz Rager.

Rager married the former Eleanor Nelson on Nov. 16, 1940, in Kewanee, Ill.

He served in the ministry all of his life, serving as pastor for many Christian Missionary Alliance and Missionary churches.

Rager served as chaplain for the R.G. LeTourneau Plant in Longview.

He moved to Belton in June 1998 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belton.

Survivors include his wife of Belton; a son, David Rager of Newport Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Janice Nelson of Dublin, Calif., Carolyn Nelson Cheney of Palos Verder Estates, Calif., and Paula Wilson of Temple; a brother, Harold Rager of Peoria, Ill,; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Belton Golden Age Club Missions, 506 N. Main St., Belton, TX 76513.
