William Jacob Kranendonk, 82, died peacefully July 8, 2002 at his residence. He was born February 22, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gerrit and Katherine Joanna Adriana DeHaan Kranendonk. He married Afton Nash in Salt Lake City, she preceded him in death in 1997. William enjoyed scouting, camping, and gardening, growing his own flowers all year long. He was very helpful, caring and service oriented. He is survuved by his children; Bryce Eugene (Carol) Loveless, Sharon L. (Paul) Bott, Warren Scott Loveless, Carolyn (Roger) Applewhite, and William Lynn Kranendonk; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; brothers; Dan, Frank and Dave, and sisters; Beverly, Erma, Katherine, and Arlene. Preceded in death by brother Harry, and sister Aggie. Funeral services will be held on July 12, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at the Rose Park North 5th Ward, 1155 North Boy Scout Drive, Salt Lake City. Friends may call prior to the services at the ward from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave & "N" Street. Services under the direction of Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary.
