Her husband, James T. Carr, passed away on Sunday morning, Sep 7, 1919, at the Lee County Home. He came to the state when he was 4 years old with his parents who settled near Argyle in 1846. He was born in Indiana, Apr 27, 1842. In 1866, he married to Miss Adelaide (Adalade) King and from that union bore six children, four of whom proceeded Mrs. Carr's death. The survivors after Jaems T. Carr's death were: C. J. Carr, of Farber, Mo.; Mrs. Oscar Engstrom, near Sandusky. Mr. Carr was a member of the First Baptist Church.
