"Lawrence Diebold, 76, retired stone mason, died Monday night at a Madison hospital after an illness. He had lived at the residence of a sister, Mrs. C. F. Bradley, 1940 University ave. Survivors are seven brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the home and at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament church. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery."

Cemetery records indicate "section unknown, lot unknown, grave 154" but I believe he is likely in an unmarked grave in Section 1, Block 2 with his parents.
