"William Diebold
William B. Diebold, 70, employed in the service department of the University of Wisconsin, died Friday at his home, 31 N. Orchard st.

Born in Madison, Sept. 27, 1875, Mr. Diebold had lived here all his life. He was formerly coachman for the late Pres. Glenn Frank of the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Diebold was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Diebold, early Madison settlers who lived on the 1400 block on University ave.

He is survived by his wife; three brothers, Frank and Joseph, Madison, and Charles, Milwaukee; and four sisters, Mrs. Julia Schulkamp, Mrs. R. F. Riemer, and Mrs. Charles Bradley, Madison, and Sister M. Gorgonia, St. Louis. A brother, Barney, died six months ago.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Joyce funeral home and at 9 in St. James Catholic church.

Pallbearers will be Herman Dresen, Mathias Lynaugh, Harry Lawrence, John Knechtges, Edward Haak, and Michael Wastian."
