Mack Cain, 78, of Springdale, died Oct. 15, 1985 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1906, at Huntsville, the son of Riley and Sarah Jane Brown Cain. He was a farmer and was a member of the Holiness Church of Springdale. He was employed by Parsons Farms and Steele Canning Co. until his retirement four years ago.
Survivors include his widow, Elsie Cain of Springdale; three sons, Charles Cain of Pendleton, Ore., Roy Cain of Huntsville and Billie Cain of Athena, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Garton of Milton Freewater, Ore., Shirley Clark of Wellington, Kan., and Joetta Bowen of Springdale; one brother, Bruce Cain of Kingston; three sisters, Mrs. Vada Moses of Muskogee, Okla., Ada Forden of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bessie Cain of Huntsville; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday. Oct 28 with the Rev. Johnny Case and the Rev. Roy Cain officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
